Where to collect the bicycle?

City Scoot is located at The Esplanade Mall. We are outside of the mall along the waterfront facing the Merlion near to the Jubilee bridge that crosses over to Merlion Park.

Payment options.

Accepted Answer

We use Stripe payment gateway for our online bookings which is one of the biggest and most secured company globally.

We accept cash and credit card in the store for walk in customers too.

Question 3

Do I have to book in advance? Can i just walk in?

Accepted Answer

You may just walk in but advance booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. Book with ease of mind, we have *100% full refund policy. You may cancel the booking by calling, text, email at any time period to your collection time for a full *100% refund. No question asked.
 
No refund for no show and/or any form of contact after the booked collection time.

*Due to cost for online credit card processing fee. There is a 5% surcharge for cancellation for credit card and fee. If the bill is $100, we will refund $95.

Question 4

Can i self collect/return at Esplanade store?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you may do self collect and return at the store.

Overnight Rental
You may return the bike anytime in the night by locking back outside our store before the next day, 10am.

Self Collection For Early Ride
If you are planning for a morning ride before our opening time. You need to book for a Full Day rental package to do self collection. We will look the bike outside the store, the night before we closed. We will WhatsApp you with photo instructions and number code for the lock.

What is the regulation for cycling in Singapore?

Accepted Answer

Bicycle can ride on everywhere. Footpaths, cycling paths and traffic roads but not highway/expressway. You will need helmet to ride on traffic roads and lights in the evening. We do rent these item as add-on items.
 
Footpaths speed not more than 10km/hr
Cycling Paths not more than 25km/hr
Traffic Roads has no limit

Question 6

Do I need to put on helmet?

Accepted Answer

Hemets are not mandatory to use, unless going on traffic roads. If you need one, we do have it for rental at a small fee.

Question 7

Can I lock the bicycle up and visit places?

Accepted Answer

Yes, your bicycle comes with number lock for you to lock it up and visit places. Generally Singapore is a safe country, we have not loose anything after 2.5 years in the business. Just remember to lock it up securely. There is no rule to where it should lock it up, bicycle parking lots are everywhere in the city or just onto any thing but do not block the way of others.

Just notify us by text, call or whatsapp and let us know before collection time to get a full refund.
